The annual conference of the Society for Cognitive Studies of the Moving Image (SCSMI) welcomes you to the Aalto University, Helsinki, Finland, June 11th – 14th, 2017

Jelena Rosic is a film editor and doctoral candidate in New Media at Aalto Arts in Helsinki. She has been working with research groups NeuroCine and Crucible Studio on her thesis “Enactive Storytelling”. In her research she draws from embodied mind approach, enactive cognitive sciences and neurophenomenology in the study of narrative practice and has been training in micro-phenomenological methods. Her recent editing work, a feature film “Humidity” premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2016 and had special screening at Festival de Cannes 2017 (L'ACID).
