Paula Di Nota

York University
Paula is in her final year of doctoral studies in Psychology at York University (Toronto). Using a combination of methodological approaches including fMRI, EEG and psychophysics, her research examines the impact of short-term exercise and long-term dance practice on neural and behavioural measures of attention, memory, and action processing. She is interested in continuing to investigate how the plastic brain uses previously learned information to inform perception and behaviour, especially as it pertains to music and dance, and how understanding these neural mechanisms can help people with disordered brain activity.
