Michael Grabowski is an Associate Professor of Communication at Manhattan College. He is the editor of Neuroscience and Media: New Understandings and Representations (2015, Routledge). His work on documentaries, feature films, commercials, music videos, and news has played at the Guggenheim, the Smithsonian, film festivals, and on broadcast and cable networks. He serves as a Senior Research Consultant for Audience Theory, which advises top television and cable networks, OTT providers, and new media companies. Dr. Grabowski’s work explores how different forms of mediated communication shape the way people think and act within their symbolic environment.
