The annual conference of the Society for Cognitive Studies of the Moving Image (SCSMI) welcomes you to the Aalto University, Helsinki, Finland, June 11th – 14th, 2017

Hauke studied psychology at the University of Tübingen. In 2014, he finished his dissertation thesis in which he explored interactions between visual attention and the detection of animate motion in simple animations. This work was awarded with the Leibniz-Young Researcher Award 2014. Since then, Hauke is a post-doctoral researcher at the Knowledge Media Research Center in Tübingen. His current work mainly addresses the interplay of sensory information from different modalities during perception as well as its role for memory performance.
